Beer and Poker Exploitation strategy

Implanting the idea of playing poker drunk is the hardest and most effective way of winning a poker game it involves a lot of acting and beer. Why would you want to implant an idea that your drunk to your opponent? You would want to implant that idea to confuse the opponent and to distract their focus to get the full momentum of the game. The technique is very effective when a poker game involve drinking a lot of beer, high alcohol tolerance, and acting you are the most intoxicated among your friends.

I have used this technique once, I have been very honest with my cards showing it off after a round or when I fold, acting drunk with my engineering buddies. I did it for a few rounds and when I notice that they all think they could have easy money on me by asking me what my cards are I decided to stop the act a little bit and start winning some money. So I win some rounds but still show them my cards. Then after winning some round I up my acting again did the usual drunk guy dancing around when he wins or when he folds jumps to the pool. During this time they have called me the drunken master cause I am still playing and we are down 3 men. Now, This is the turning point in one round I even told and show them what my cards are and that is the time I know they have turned off their guard on me. I was easy picking no need to analyze my cards cause I will say it out loud. Those friends of mine are sleazy but not as sleazy as me. They keep asking me what are my cards. During this point decided to stop the act and play real poker, I lied to them both about my cards this time, I did not show it. I won the round and now I have the full momentum of the game that was the night I played my dirtiest Texas Hold'em.

So If you feel like playing poker and drinking a lot of beer this technique is very much usable. This will work fine as long as you have good tolerance to alcohol compared to your buddies. If you get drunk easily this would totally backfire.

The Elusive Royal Flush

For the last four years in my Texas Holdem poker gaming life I have only seen this ultimate trump card "THE ROYAL FLUSH" once. Sadly for me I did not hold the cards I was the victim of this unbeatable card combination. But why is the card so elusive? basically it is because it is so hard to get draw the 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace that are in the same suit in a 52 card deck. Being able to have the Royal Flush on a same suit is considered to be the ultimate luck of a poker player that the poker gods are behind you all the way.

So how do you deal with the game if you have the  ROYAL FLUSH?

Based on the way my buddy destroyed us on the poker table, since you know you will not lose it is better to milk the competition. Bluff around the opponents make them feel that they have the upper hand. A proper time to call a check while putting some looks of hesitation in your face is the major key element. Slowing the game down as if you are making some decisions, or even making a gesture that you are about to fold is also a good way but you must not over do it cause some guys might smell the bluff. Sometimes telling them I have a royal flush may work as well it would be hard to believe that specially in a poker game where everyone lies.
